Manitobans for the Arts was formed in 2012 by arts lovers and workers to promote, celebrate, and support arts, culture, heritage, and creativity across this province. Our mandate is to foster leadership development and inter-organizational networking and growth, uniting stakeholders in the arts under one banner to ensure that both the arts and culture flourishes in Manitoba.

We recognize that the future strength of the arts in Manitoba lies in the size, diversity and engagement of our community and we continue to pursue meaningful reconciliation, in addition to ensuring equity, inclusivity and representation so that the arts are truly accessible and relevant to all Manitobans.

Manitobans for the Arts is well positioned as an advocate for the arts in Manitoba. Through consultation, we have identified key priorities and are working alongside arts organizations, individuals, and private - public sector partners to address them. We understand the arts landscape is always evolving and are committed to ongoing consultation with the entire community.

We can’t do this work alone. Please consider joining us as a member and supporter of Manitobans for the Arts to help create a stronger and more sustainable organization that can advocate for you and the arts in our Province.

As per our bylaws, your annual membership fee will also grant you voting rights at our AGM.
