Growing Food Security Volunteer Form
It is estimated that ~30% of students (~9,000) at Colorado State University (CSU) will experience food insecurity during their tenure at school, and it is likely this number is actually higher. Growing Food Security (GFS) is a grad-student led project that works to promote food security at CSU by growing produce for the Rams Against Hunger (RAH) food pantry. For more information about our mission, we welcome you to watch this promotional video made by CSU about our project.

Our field is located at CSU's ARDEC South (see link for Google Maps location). In 2022, we donated 11,000+ pounds of produce. This year's goal is to grow 13,000 pounds of produce for the food pantry, so we appreciate any help we can get. As a bonus, volunteers receive access to fresh, nutritious produce :)

To get involved this year, please fill out the brief survey below and we'll include you in our regular updates via email.

Feel welcome to contact James Larson (james.larson@colostate.edu) with any questions.
