AGREEMENT: As required by the State of Wisconsin pursuant to the provisions of section 343.71 (a) of the motor vehicle code. KC’s Driving School will comply with all rules and laws as found in the Motor Vehicle Code M.V.343 and Trans. 105. The agreement between the customer and the school shall consist of the following charges and obligations;

ONLINE CLASSROOM:

Students are required to complete 30 hours of online classroom training.
Students are not allowed to complete more than 2 hours (1 session) of coursework per day, and a max of 10 hours (5 sessions) per week and the course must extend over a minimum of 19 days according to State law.
Students are required to have a laptop or desktop computer using a modern internet browser such as Internet Explorer, FireFox or Chrome. The computer must be connected to the internet with a high speed internet access capable of streaming online video from YouTube. Technical support will be provided for any issues that come up.

BEHIND THE WHEEL NOTE: only applies to students taking Behind the Wheel at Johnson Creek HS, Jefferson HS, all other BTW students will enroll with another school for their behind the wheel program and those schools each have their own BTW Agreement:

Students are required to complete 6 hours of driving and 6 hours observing (6 BTW Lessons).
Students are required to present a valid Instruction Permit at each Behind The Wheel lesson.
Students must start behind the wheel lessons within 60 days from the day the permit application (MV3001) is signed.
Students must complete all 6 BTW Lessons within 12 months from the original issue date of their Instruction Permit.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS and FEES

30 Hour Online Classroom ($99) - Includes 30 hours of Online Classroom and is a prerequisite course for enrolling in a Behind the Wheel program. After students complete the course, KC's will issue them a State Certificate of Completion which they will use to enroll in an approved behind the wheel program.
Behind The Wheel - completed KC's 30 Hour Online Classroom) - $425 Includes 6 two-hour driving lessons, students will drive for 6 hours and observe for 6 hours. NOTE: only applies to students taking Behind the Wheel at Johnson Creek HS, Jefferson HS, . If you enroll with one of our many partner schools, their behind the wheel fee will vary.
Behind The Wheel (student did not complete KC's 30 Hour Online Classroom) - $525 Includes 6 two-hour driving lessons, students will drive for 6 hours and observe for 6 hours.
Combined 30 Online Classroom Course with Behind the Wheel (Combines #1 and #2) - $525. Online Classroom fee is due when students begin the Online Course, the remaining balance will be paid when the student is ready to begin the BTW portion.
2 Hour Failure to Yield the Right of Way Online Course - $75 - Includes 2 hours of State mandated online coursework after a right of way violation. KC's will issue a State Certificate of Completion to the DMV after completion.
2 Hour Failure to Yield the Right of Way Traditional Course - $150 - Includes 2 hours of State mandated coursework, in a traditional class setting, after a right of way violation. KC's will issue a State Certificate of Completion to the DMV after completion.
40 Hour Driver Instructor Training Course - $1500 - Includes 20 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of behind the wheel training. All training is done in person one-on-one. After completion, students will be eligible to be tested by the DMV to become a licensed instructor.

MISCELANEOUS FEES:

$15 - NSF Returned Check Fee
$20 - Document Fee (charged if student loses or needs a special document produced)
$45 - Withdrawal Fee - for student choosing to drop from our program
$45 - < 24 Cancellation (fee will be charged if a student cancels a BTW lesson with <24 hours notice)
$55 - No Show (charged if a student does not show up (No Shows) for a BTW lesson)
$55 - No Permit (charged if a student is unable to produce a valid Instruction Permit at a BTW)
$95 - Private Behind The Wheel Lesson (fee will be charged for a private individual behind the wheel lesson)

Students will be dropped from the course for disruptive, abusive or disrespectful behavior towards any instructor, staff or student, by either the student or the student's parent.
KC's will not refund any fee or part payment if the school is ready, willing, and able to fulfill its part of the agreement. At any point if a refund is issued, it will be pro-rated based on the portion of the course completed, the Withdrawal Fee, and no portion of the credit card processing fee will be refunded.
KC’s Driving School West Inc., D.B.A. KC’s Driving School 541, maintains auto insurance, business liability insurance and bond insurance. The limit of each policy is established by state law. The extent of our liability for any claim for any reason is limited to the limits of these policies. If ever we are found liable for any claim, all claims are restricted to the limits of our insurance coverage.
