Learn how people of faith and goodwill can respond to the needs of asylum seekers, migrants, and refugees in Vermont and beyond. Panelists include: Erin Jacobsen of the South Royalton Legal Clinic at Vermont Law School, Bria Yazic of AALV, Steven Crofter of Community Asylum Seekers Project of Vermont, and Rev. Annie Gonzalez Milliken of Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network (BIJAN).
Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the church on the North side of the building. Enter on Main Street. Street parking is also available all around the church and is free on Sundays. Carpooling is encouraged.
Please note that the Unitarian Church of Montpelier is a fragrance-free building which supports accessibility for those with chemical sensitivities. A wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the School Street entrance.
A suggested donation of $10 will be collected at the door. Donations will offset costs of the program and support the work of immigrant justice organizations.
