5CFM provides the market location, advertising, promotion and site insurance coverage. A market manager or designee will be at each market day to promote a pleasant, safe and successful market day for all vendors and customers. Market management has the responsibility and authority to enforce these rules.Nonprofit Organization Participation Information and GuidelinesWe are pleased to welcome local nonprofit organizations, community organizations and small neighborhood businesses to 5CFM. Nonprofit vendors must be a charity or other non-profit organization that serves a basic human need or provides educational information of human interest (i.e. health and safety). The Market is not a forum for political, religious or doctrinal debate. Inclusion at the market does not constitute 5CFM endorsement or support of the nonprofit organization.All organizations wishing to participate in the market must submit a Nonprofit Organization Application. All applications will be reviewed by the Market Manager and nonprofit coordinator and if approved space will be scheduled on a first come first served basis…as available. Your organization must receive official confirmation of an approved date to attend that market. We will try to accommodate your needs and requests to the best of our ability. Nonprofit organizations are NOT permitted to give away or sell items that compete with Market vendors such as food, drinks, produce, jewelry, and crafts. However, nonprofit benefit sale of tickets, merchandise, and memberships may be allowed with specific prior approval. Collecting financial donations requires a letter on official letterhead that verifies that you are authorized to collect donations for the 501(c)(3) organization. If you are not able to attend a confirmed date, you must contact the Market Manager by the Monday of the week you are assigned or as soon as possible so that another organization can possibly attend. Late arrivals and early departures cannot be accommodated. Vehicles may not idle and must be parked in assigned area.You are not permitted to set up canopies, tents, or umbrellas without adequate weight to hold them down. Requirements are 40 lb. weight minimum per corner for a 10 x 10 tent. Bring all necessary materials and equipment. No smoking or dogs except service animals.You must provide clearly visible signage identifying your nonprofit. Information may be given only at customer’s request and at your assigned space. No direct solicitation is allowed.You must comply with general market guidelines or you may be asked to leave. Contact the Market manager if you have any questions.In lieu of a fee or donation, we ask you to list 5CFM on your web site, social media outreach or marketing materials. Request a logo or information from the Market Manager.5CFM, Inc. is not liable for any injury, theft, or damage to either the buyer or seller, or their property, arising from or pertaining to preparation for or participation in the Farmers Market. Regardless of whether such injury, theft, or damage occurred prior, during, or after the Farmers Market. Organizations and individuals further agree to indemnify and hold 5CFM harmless for and against any claims for such injury, theft, or damage. Liability insurance is recommended.
