This document is an overview of the audition process for SpaceCat Labs, Launchpad (Student Troupe), and Kick Asteroid (Harold Troupe).

Please note that rehearsal times will not change. If your current schedule does not allow you to attend scheduled rehearsals, you will not be able to audition for that troupe this round.

Audition Date: Thursday, May 30; 6-7:30pm

THERE WILL BE NO GROUP WARM-UP BEFORE AUDITIONS. THE FIRST GROUP WILL START AT 6:00 AFTER A BRIEF INTRODUCTION.

The following are descriptions of what these groups will be doing and the expectations for those wanting to participate:

General Requirements
There are level requirements for participation. If you feel you have a compelling case for an exception to be made, please fill out the form and state your reason in the final section.

All house and student troupes rehearse weekly in June and July, with possible rehearsals in August. Rehearsals times are indicated in the descriptions below.

All house/student troupes are cast via a live audition in addition to this form. Both the form and audition must be completed in order to be eligible*.

Form submissions are due by Thursday, May 30 at 4:00 pm. Auditions will be held that same day from 6-7:30 PM

*If the form is submitted on-time and you give notice well in advance (48 hours) that you cannot make it to the audition, exceptions can be made, though preference may still be given to those who complete both.

SpaceCat Labs Presents: Video Game Soundtrack
Scenes in the Video Game Soundtrack will use musical accompaniment to set the mood or to heighten a scene in progress. Music will be video game scores and sounds controlled by the show's tech operator.

•Level 5 students & alumni are eligible
•This troupe will be coached by Roger Anderson
•Troupe will perform on Thursdays at 8:00pm in July & August
•Rehearses weekly - Thursdays 6-7:30pm in June & July (starting June 6)
•Troupe will be cast from submitted forms and the live audition. Please fill out the form AND plan to attend.

Kick Asteroid - Harold Troupe
Kick Asteroid is a troupe for alumni seeking additional training and experience. They will perform the Harold format, developing their own style and potentially their own opener.

Must haves:
- An understanding of finding and playing the Game of the scene.
- A basic understanding of Harold
- A good sense of piece

Details:
• Level 5 students & alumni are eligible
• This troupe will be coached by Charlie Becker
• Troupe will perform on Thursdays at 8:00pm in July & August
• Rehearses weekly - Thursdays 6-7:30pm in June & July (starting June 6)
• Troupe will be cast from submitted forms and the live audition. Please fill out the form AND plan to attend.

Note from Charlie for this current run:
"I am super excited to be coaching Kick Asteroid! I'm looking for people who are supportive teammates and good listeners. I would like to cast some alumni who haven't played in a while or got a shot at a house troupe yet, but I will not be too strict about this--so don't let it scare you off if you're a veteran. I will also be giving priority to people who can come to every rehearsal."

Launchpad - Student Troupe
Launchpad is a troupe for students wanting more practice in an effort to perform on a professional level by allowing them to develop their skills and get additional stage time before their graduation. They will perform a montage format with some limitations on devices. Device use will be left to the coach's discretion.

• Level 3 and 4 students are eligible
• You must be a currently-enrolled student to be eligible
• This troupe will be coached by Jessica Brown
• Troupe will perform on Thursdays at 8:00 in July & August
• Rehearses weekly - Mondays 8-10pm in June & July (Starting June 3)
• Troupe will be cast from submitted forms and the live audition. Please fill out the form AND plan to attend.
