Greenhouse Volunteer - Join SGGN's Sprouts Program

Please help out in one of our Greenhouses (Feb-April Commitment) Help grow thousands of plants from seed to start that are handed over to volunteer gardeners who then grow til harvest for food programs. All lists will be carried over to next year. You will be contacted by the lead volunteer for that programs location.

Team Lead - Internal Coordinator for SGGN, project management 2-6 hours a week

Coordinator - External connections & supporting gardeners needs 2-4 hours a week

Fall Soil Blocks Work Party in August - 1 time commitment, nurse starts for 4 weeks

Join our Annual Event Team- Help with our Giving Gardeners Gathering (December-March)

Event Liaison - Attend in-person events through the year and be a Liaison to SGGN

Farm Lead at Maple Leaf Greenhouse- Skilled Gardener with Greenhouse experience to lead team tasks in growing 5000 starts

No growing experience necessary. We can help you get connected with a community garden near you and grow for food programs. Take a look at our map of gardens and tell us 1 to 3 that you would be interested in helping at during the spring and summer.
