REEV, our mission is to help 50 million people with neurological gait disorders recover confidence and freedom in their daily movements.
To achieve this ambitious mission, we are building DREEVEN: the first powered KAFO that can provide a smart mobility assistance to support sit-to-stand, walking, walking ascending, walking descending and climbing stairs. Our patented electro-hydraulic technology, coming from the automotive industry, is a lightweight 'power-steering' that can provide both assistance or resistance to knee flexion or extension, depending on the different phases of the gait cycle.
In only 2 years, we have built a first version of DREEVEN in partnership with Thuasne USA and we have partnered with MIT to test our solution. Our team, based in Boston and Toulouse, gathers 25 experts in mechatronics and neurological rehabilitation and has been awarded multiple national awards and more than $3 million of funding.
