Spanish- Students will learn how to read and write in Spanish as well as elements of Hispanic culture and history. For 8th graders, this class becomes Spanish I for HS credit. *

Drawing - Students will learn how to draw both from observation and their imaginations. Students will gain confidence in their drawings as they learn how to accurately draw people, landscapes, still lifes, comic strips, and much more with a variety of different drawing materials. *

Painting- Students will learn how to use a variety of different paints including acrylic and watercolor. Students will gain knowledge about color theory and color mixing. Students will learn how to paint portraits, landscapes, and abstract paintings. *

Technology- Students will learn basic and advanced google apps usage, typing skills, coding, web design, etc. For 7th and 8th graders, this course becomes Keyboarding for 0.5 HS credit. *

Sculpture- Students will create 3-dimensional works of art using clay, paper mache, and a variety of other media. *

Fiber Arts- Students will gain a knowledge and experience in a wide variety of different types of fiber art. This includes sewing, weaving, embroidery, knitting, and dying fabric. Some of the products students will create include pillow making, puppets, stuffed animals, and scarves. *

Business/Entrepreneurship- Students will learn what it takes to take an idea from concept to business plan to a functioning business. Students will use concepts learned to create a business plan. Students will also learn leadership concepts that will help them be successful in the business world and their personal lives. *
