Florida Children's Institute Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst/Graduate Case Manager Application
The Florida Children’s Institute is growing and we’re looking for a full-time Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst or Graduate-Level RBT to support our team and serve our clients. We provide comprehensive support for children and families dealing with behavioral problems and learning disabilities. Our skilled providers utilize the latest best practices to address problem behaviors and foster independence, self-regulation and skill acquisition.

The FCI team is dedicated to providing excellent care in a warm, supportive environment. We offer parent training, follow-up care, and special courses in social and self-management skills to help children succeed. And we work closely with other educational, medical, and psychological service providers to coordinate treatment and achieve the best outcome for our families.

Duties for the Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst/Graduate-Level RBT position will include:

• Provide ongoing case management including, but not limited to:
• Developing, writing, and updating treatment programs and goals
• Creating and updating datasheets
• Entering data and updating graphs
• Data analysis
• In situ RBT supervision
• Supervision meetings with RBTs
• Writing session notes
• Preparing session materials
• Provide ongoing parent, school, and/or caregiver training including, but not limited to:
• Developing, writing, and updating parenting treatment programs and goals
• Creating and updating datasheets
• Entering data and updating graphs
• Data analysis
• Writing session notes
• Preparing session materials
• Conduct initial assessments for new clients and reassessments for current clients including, but not limited to:
• Conducting functional analyses (FAs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
• Writing assessment summaries
• Developing and writing initial treatment plans
• Developing and writing treatment plan updates
• Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services directly to children and adolescents within a clinic setting
• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to small groups and/or family therapy services directly to children and adolescents within a clinic setting
• Attend clinical collaboration training meetings (including in-house CEU events)
• Assist in training undergraduate practicum students and new RBTs, including teaching and providing feedback
• Collaborate on in-house research activities

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst OR RBT currently enrolled in an ABA graduate program accruing fieldwork hours in pursuit of BCBA certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and/or adolescents in a caretaking, therapy, research, or teaching capacity including working with children across various levels of functioning and various diagnoses.
• Ability to interact well with children, parents, and other professionals
• Ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member
• Ability to work well independently
• Ability to accept feedback, and implement recommendations for programming
• Ability to provide feedback to others based on their performance
• Must be CPR/First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross or be willing to obtain certification
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Proficient in using Word & Excel, Asana, electronic medical records, or willing to learn these platforms
• Physical ability to run, jump, get on/off the floor, bend and help carry and transport students in times of aggression, property destruction, and self-injurious behavior. Push/pull 75 pounds (e.g., move school tables/training materials) and lift/support 25 pound of weight (e.g., client).
