I am interested in being connected with opportunities to serve in the following ways:
Friendly Visitor: increase an individual's quality of life by visiting 2-3x/month
Housework: help with occasional housekeeping (i.e. sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, laundry, etc.)
Minor Home Repairs: projects may be interior or exterior of a home (i.e. painting, dry wall repair, handyman projects, deck repair, cleaning gutters, power wash siding, etc.) The homeowner is asked to provide/pay for any supplies needed.
Mother's Helper: provide support to a young mom by helping with chores, playing with children while mom takes time to herself, be a supportive friend. Mom must stay in the home at all times.
Patient Sitter/Transportation: transport an individual to/from a medical procedure that requires a patient sitter and stay in the waiting room throughout the procedure. (This is a requirement of some procedures.)
Phone/Card Friendly Visitor: a friend to provide a supportive phone call or mail cards of encouragement 2-3x/month
Transportation: drive an individual to/from a medical appointment, grocery store, bank, pharmacy, food pantry, etc. Transportation volunteers also deliver food pantry boxes to homebound individuals.
Yard Work: mowing, raking, yard clean up, planting flowers, spreading mulch, etc.
Office Support for VIS: Provide phone support, process intake forms, write thank you notes, help with mailings, assist with special projects, etc.

Food Pantry Delivery: Pick up items from a food pantry on behalf of a homebound individual and deliver it to their home.
Grocery store and/or errands: Transport an individual to/from a grocery store, bank, pharmacy, food pantry, etc.
