The Bridgefest Committee is seeking parties who are interested in participating as food vendors for Bridgefest 2019. There will be an opportunity to apply to be a primary or a secondary food vendor. Primary food vendors will be located in or near the pavilion in the Ray Kestner Waterfront Park and secondary food vendors will be located along the waterfront on West Lakeshore Drive.
All food vendors seeking to participate in Bridgefest 2019 are asked to submit an application form (including menu information and proposed pricing) by 5 p.m. Monday May 20, 2019. Applications will not be accepted after that point. Once applications are accepted, the Bridgefest Committee will review all applications and make decisions about which vendors are accepted. The food vendors that are accepted will be charged a vendor fee and must be present for both days of Bridgefest as shown above. Primary food vendors will pay a $150 vendor fee and secondary food vendors will pay a $100 vendor fee. Fees are payable to the "Portage Lake Enrichment Foundation" no later than June 10, 2019. Payments may be made online at http://www.bridgefestfun.com/donate.php, through a check mailed to the address above (made out to Portage Lake Enrichment Foundation), or with a credit card over the phone. Space will be assigned when payment is made.
All food vendors are responsible for obtaining their own insurance and all necessary permits through the county health department, etc. Proof of insurance and licenses/permits must be submitted to the Bridgefest Committee by Monday June 10, 2019. Additionally, vendors are responsible for maintaining the standards of applicable Michigan law. This is not the responsibility of the Bridgefest Committee.
Bridgefest assumes no liability for damage or loss of any products or displays. Bridgefest does not provide security of any kind. Bridgefest does not provide chairs, tables, water, trash removal, or other supplies or needs. Vendors will directly collect all customer payments by whatever methods are desired without involvement from Bridgefest (no food tickets, etc). Bridgefest reserves the right to reject any vendor without explanation.
Food vendors may offer sales of food and soft drinks (pop, water, etc). Vendors may not sell alcohol or be involved in any alcohol sales at the event.
Vendors must maintain a clean area at all times throughout the weekend and leave their area clean at the conclusion of the event. A Bridgefest Committee member will be in contact with you regarding your application and setup for Bridgefest weekend.
