Arcadia Corporate Volunteer Day Scheduling Request 
Thanks for your interest in bringing your teammates out to Arcadia to help out on the farm! 

Our farmers are growing food for thousands of families who otherwise lack access to wholesome fruits and vegetables. Our farms teach young people about sustainable agriculture and encourages healthy eating through field trips, summer camp, and internships. We also train veterans aspiring to become new farmers. Your volunteer day will help us across all of our programs, and give you a fun, challenging outdoor activity to tackle with your colleagues. 

Your team's tasks will depend on the season, weather, and the farmers' priorities, as well as your interests. They could include planting, weeding, harvesting, moving wood chips, more weeding, preparing beds for planting. We sometimes have farm-adjacent tasks, like painting and tables, or organizing farm tools and sheds. We'll know what the possibilities are when we get closer to your date. 

Your tax-deductible donation offsets the cost of supplies and equipment for volunteer projects and helps keep the farm in good working order. If you are unable to pay the fee, we have plenty of pre-planned opportunities to volunteer on the farm and you are welcome to sign up as many as 10 people at a time. Please fill out this form and we'll be in touch to schedule your group visit, working around our farmers' schedules, field trips, and events on the property. 

Filling out the form is the the first step of the process. When we agree on a date, we'll provide you with much more detail -- what to bring, wear, what to expect, and directions and maps.

We recommend team-building experiences last no more than 3 hours -- the work is hot and tiring, especially for people who normally work at a desk.  We recommend team-building experiences begin no later than 10 am to capture the coolest part of the day, but afternoon events are possible. 

If desired and the schedule works, we can arrange a catered box lunch through Neighborhood Provisions for an additional fee.
