Thank you for your interest in being a Homeroom Helper this year! This is an exciting opportunity to get involved and make a difference in your child’s classroom experience.
Please complete this form to indicate your child(ren)'s class and the positions you are willing to fill. Below are descriptions of each role:
Head Homeroom Parent:
Collaborate with the teacher and other parents to plan classroom parties, featuring games, activities, crafts, and snacks.
Attend the parties or ensure another parent is fully briefed if you cannot attend.
Manage the organization of class gifts and, in the absence of a classroom photographer, help capture memories by completing the yearbook candid page for the class.
Assistant Homeroom Parent: Support the Head Homeroom Parent with all responsibilities listed above.
Photographer: Attend classroom parties and events throughout the year to take pictures of the class. If you cannot attend, arrange for someone else to take pictures. Upload photos as instructed by the yearbook team and compile the candid page for the class.
Please note: If there are two requests for the Assistant role and none for Head Homeroom Parent, or if two parents request the Head role, we will ask you to be co-Homeroom Parents and work together.
All Homeroom Helper Parents must attend the first general meeting on Tuesday, September 17th to receive further details about the role.
