Miami-Dade Online Academy 2018-2019 Student Application
ATTENTION APPLICANTS:
Please be aware that this is NOT a Summer Program. We do not offer classes in the summer. We are a full-time Magnet school. Students accepted to our program will no longer be enrolled in your neighborhood school but in ours. Students can access all their classes online from their home and parents monitor daily their progress.

If a student is eligible and qualifies for our magnet program, the parent will be required to submit student and family documents in PDF format via an email. After our Admissions Office reviews the documents, your family will be scheduled for a face-to-face registration meeting. Applying students must be present at this meeting and family must bring originals of the documents requested. At that meeting, a future training date will be scheduled in the summer to train parents how to manage and monitor the program and run a public school in their home. Please expect the meeting to last approximately four (4) hours. At this same meeting, the student will be taught how he/she will learn in our program. If the prospective student and parent does not attend, the student will not be officially enrolled in our program.

We are accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year from March 13, 2018, until July 20, 2018. Do not wait until the last day to apply. Applications submitted on the last day – July 20, 2018 – must be received no later than 12PM (noon) and must include all required documents.
