Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Ballet La Crosse's fall 2018 production! We are excited to announce that our fall ballet production will be “Alice In Wonderland” with original choreography by Mr. Kennet Oberly. This ballet will have roles for male and female dancers age 8 and up.  

Auditions will be Saturday, April 21 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Boys and Girls in Beginning and Building Ballet (ages 8+) will audition from 1:00-1:30 PM
Boys and Girls in Levels I & II will audition from 1:30-2:15 PM
Boys and Girls in Levels III & IV, Pre Pro 1 will audition from 2:15-3:00 PM
Levels V, VI, VII, Pre Pro 2-3 and Pointe will audition from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
(Dancers must have 2 or more years of En Pointe experience to audition en pointe)
Men ages 15+ will audition from 5:30-6:00 PM

Alternative auditions will be Monday, April 30 from 3:30-5:30 PM
Beginning Ballet - Level IV, Pre Pro 1 will audition from 3:30-4:15 PM
Levels V-VII, Pre Pro 2-3 and Pointe will audition from 4:15-5:30 PM
(Dancers must have completed 2 or more years of en pointe experience or one year of Pre Professional Ballet Level 2 to audition en pointe)

Please come at least 30 minutes early for your audition time so you can warm up in the hallway or a studio prior to the start of your audition block.  Female dancers should wear any color leotard, pink tights, hair in a neat bun, a little make up.  Male dancers should wear a white t-shirt,  black athletic pants, and hair styled neatly.

Audition results will be emailed to all dancers on Wednesday, May 9th.

Preliminary Summer Rehearsal Information:  
Our 2 weeks of summer choreography will be July 30-August 4 and August 13-18.
Summer Rehearsals will tentatively run from 12PM - 8 PM each day.  
Soloists may also rehearse from 11-1 PM and 6-9PM each day
Younger dancers will tentatively rehearse from 1-6 PM each day

Preliminary Fall Rehearsal Information:  
Principals, soloists, and corp groups will rotate into a 1-3 hour Friday night rehearsal approximately once a month for the months of September-November.  
All dancers will be needed for rehearsals on Saturdays from 1:00-6:00 PM (Younger dancers will report only for a small sections of the 5 hour block on most Saturdays).

Performances will be Saturday, November 24th and Sunday, November 25th, times to be determined.
