Thank you for your interest in participating with the KIDS elementary architecture program! Please be sure to read over and respond to each questions carefully, giving specific dates and times where requested. You must complete this application in order to participate.
KIDS offers lessons for groups of up to 25 students. Students meet with the teaching team once a week for a total of 10 weeks. Each lesson is 90 minutes in length. The 10th and final lesson is a field trip where students will have an opportunity to display and present their architectural models to other participating schools.
10 KIDS sessions = 22 hours of program time with an industry professional and a teaching artist
The total cost of hosting this program on your campus for one class of up to 24 students is $2,600
(Artist educators - $1,050; Industry professionals - $250; Supplies - $300; Administrative - $1,000)
To participate, you must have access to the following: a classroom space, a computer with projector or smartboard with internet connectivity, and access to Google Drive. For virtual components, you will need to have a webcam and microphone available.
By submitting this application, you are registering yourself as the individual teacher/program sponsor that will be participating with the KIDS architecture program. All interested teachers must complete and submit their own individual application.
