More Details about Climbing Meetups:
- Climbing Meetups are a way to help participants break the ice, build community and learn about your organization! You can be as creative or simple as you want, but we recommend having a theme to your meetup to entice folks to join. (Examples: Crag and Doodle - folks brought drawing supplies to the crag and doodled in between climbing; Belay Techniques for different bodies; BIPOC Affinity Bouldering)
- Climbing meetups are an "unofficial" part of the festival and there will be no guides or festival staff present. Flash Foxy is helping to facilitate new climbing partnerships but these are not instructional or formally supervised sessions. It is up to hosts to decide where they would like to host their meetup, however we're happy to offer suggestions!
