Vanvadi Magical Monsoon Weekend Workshops 2023 — Registration Form

Location: Vanvadi is situated in the Sahyadri foothills of the Western Ghats. It is about 95 km from Mumbai, 125 km from Pune, 10 km from Neral, and 27 km from Karjat. There are over 20 trains each day from Mumbai to Neral. From Neral station, Vanvadi is a 30-minute rickshaw ride (Rs. 250). View on Google Maps.

Timings: For each workshop, participants are requested to reach by 9 am on Saturday. Following breakfast, we plan to start the workshop at 10 am, and conclude it by 4.30 pm on Sunday.

What to bring: Umbrella or rain jacket; 2 bed sheets (one to sleep on for a single mattress and one to cover yourself); mosquito net (during monsoon), a torch, change of clothes, anything you would like to swim or splash around in (if the Rock Pool fills up with rain); and any musical instrument you play. You are also welcome to bring along your own tent if you like; and perhaps a compact power bank to charge your phone. (We have no electricity, only 2 solar-powered bulbs, 4 lanterns and candles.)

Requested Voluntary Contribution per Workshop: Rs 3,500 for 2 days, inclusive of food and shared accommodation; Rs 2,000 for children below 12. More or less would be equally welcome. One day participation is accepted (9.30 am to 4.30 pm, including breakfast & lunch); Rs 1,500/adult and 800/children.

Please feel free to let us know in case of financial constraints. For those registering for a minimum of 2 workshops, the requested contribution per workshop is Rs 3,000 for adults and Rs 1,500 for children.

We can accommodate a maximum of 20 participants per workshop in our Vanvadi Community House; so please register soon!
