- Application deadline is March 29th, 2015 at 11:59PM for potential exhibition dates in the months of May, June and August. - - Applicants will be notified the following week. - There is a fee of $20.00 for Avenue for the Arts members and $35 for non-members is due upon completing this application. Avenue for the Arts members have an online profile which can be used as a tool to directly connect with other artists and curators, in addition to discounts on Avenue events, access to artist specific educational resources, and promotion via the website and newsletter.

ArtWork GuidelinesWork displayed in the [Work] Space must not have been exhibited along the Avenue for the Arts previously. All images/artwork submitted must be the sole property of the artist. All drop off times must be agreed upon between the gallery and the artist. Work may be hand-delivered to:

All work on paper or those that are matted or mounted must be framed and wired for hanging. Sawtooth hangers, clip frames or exposed glass edges ARE NOT PERMITTED. Paint on all works must be dry. Two-dimensional works cannot be larger than 8 feet high by 10 feet wide (8’ X 10’). Three-dimensional works cannot be larger than three feet wide by six feet tall by eight feet long (4’x6’x8’) and must be stable. Works may have free-moving parts. Works cannot be hung from the ceiling. Electrical outlets are available. See the Avenue website for photos and floor plan of the gallery:

Email the following documents as the final step in the submission process: - Artist's Statement (not more than 500 words) - A resume or CV - 3-5 images to serve as examples of artwork that will be displayed in the exhibition. All entry files (regardless of type or media) must be named with artist's last name (underscore) and first name (i.e. Jones_Karen_1.jpg). Please DO NOT include any other information in the file name, such as title of work, etc. The image files should be in HIGH QUALITY JPEG format, images should be no smaller than 1000 pixels in any direction (about 13”) and 72dpi.

Agreement and WaiverArtist is responsible for all sales. The Avenue for the Arts does not take a commission, however there is a suggested 10%-30% donation of profit from sales during the exhibition.
By submitting your work, you agree to comply with all the conditions in this application. The committee reserves the right to final selection of works, committee decisions are final. All accepted works will remain as placed by the installation committee and may not be withdrawn before the close of the exhibit. The Avenue for the Arts may remove a work for any reason.
Entries will be handled with professional care. However, the Avenue is not responsible for loss or damage from any cause whatsoever. By signing the application form, you waive any claim against the Avenue for loss or damage that may occur in the presentation and handling of works by this exhibit. Works not picked up by the DATE agreed upon by both parties may be considered an unrestricted gift to the Avenue and may be auctioned or sold.
Unless otherwise specified in writing, you grant the Avenue for the Arts the ability to photograph artwork for publicity purposes.
