The Prison Creative Arts Project relies on volunteers for many of its programs. PCAP offers short- and long-term volunteer opportunities. Community volunteers can choose to train as workshop facilitators, join the literary review editing team, help plan and install exhibits, or assist with administration. Volunteers can assist with exhibition preparation, media and publicity, additional exhibition opportunities, or correspondence with artists and their primary contacts.

Are you interested in volunteering with the Editorial Team for the Michigan Review of Prisoner Creative Writing?
The Editorial Team meets bi-weekly to review creative writing submissions, select pieces for publication, critique and edit pieces, and send response letters to writers.

The Linkage Project is PCAP's creative arts community of formerly incarcerated people. Volunteers can join the PCAP Community workshop or attend other Linkage Project events.
