URGE Ohio Advocacy Day 2019
Too often, young people are shut out of the political process. We’re told to sit on the sidelines while conversations are had about us, and decisions are made for us. That’s not how we do things at URGE. We know that in order to truly win on our issues, young people must be at the forefront of the conversation.

Join young people from across Ohio at the capitol on Wednesday, April 10th to advocate for reproductive justice and bring your voice directly to your state legislators!

URGE will help arrange carpools to and from the capitol on April 10th and will reimburse the entire cost of travel for participants as well as provide lodging the night before for those traveling long distances.* The day will consist of an advocacy training, legislative briefing and meetings with your elected officials. We will also provide a light breakfast and lunch for the day!

*Note: URGE will provide hotel rooms for those who are traveling to the capital from more than an hour and a half away.
