This form is to show interest in the R/Pharma Diversity Alliance Hackathon, scheduled on September 30th as a mentor. If you are interested in attending as a participant, not a mentor, please follow this
link.
The goal of the hackathon is to introduce those who identify as under-represented to the open source community.
If you are an active open-source software developer in R and would like volunteer to help guide the next generation of open-source developers please consider submitting this form and we'll follow up with more details.
Mentors do not need to identify as being from an under-recognised group.
During the hackathon event, we plan to pair mentors so you'll have support to manage your hackathon team. Ideally we'll pair mentors from the following groups:
Primary mentor: proposes an open-source R package where they can manage merge requests.
Secondary mentor: work with primary mentor to help participants during the hackathon.
