Work Site Tours for 11th graders
May of our IT companies open their doors to allow our students to explore careers and various work environments. The job shadowing component is a requirement for all juniors in the English III class. Juniors are requires to complete a job shadowing experience. If you can offer a job shadowing experience for approximately 25 students to explore, network, and research their career choices. Suggested Guidelines for hosting a Job Shadowing trip
Approximately 25 students & 2 chaperones
Depart Crooms AoIT around 9:30 a.m. and depart 1:00 p.m.
If a company would like to sponsor the lunch/transportation that is always appreciated. (Approximately $200)

Meet and Greet host
Trip to includes:
-Presentation/Overview of the organization
-Tour of the facilities
-Introduce careers within your organization
-Discussion with the HR rep - expectations and process of applying
-Showcase the use of technology in the workplace
Lunch 11:30-12:00 (suggested time)
Special Activity of your choice
Depart your location by 1:00 p.m.
