Hillcrest Orchard Summer Camp is July 18th-23rd !! The camp is an overnight camp in tents, but there’s an option to come during the day only. Tents will be provided. And packing list will be provided prior to camp. The camp is for ages 11-15! Those 16 and older are welcome to apply as staff. Thursday July 18th Arrival 4:00-6:00pm Drop off at Hillcrest Orchard camp - 584 Hillcrest Lane.
6:00-7:00 Dinner
7:00 Orientation
Friday July 19th- 23rd- Sample of Activities (subject to change) include Opportunities for growth as a future leader!
- Challenge Course
- Connecting with Horses with That Zen Farm -https://thatzenfarm.wpengine.com
- Curriculum on "Being the Change you want to see in the world" and being Service Oriented leaders
- Service Opportunities- harvesting veggies, herbs, helping with serving meals, building a fence for pumpkin patch, etc
- Planting a garden for the fall- beans, potatoes, dill, sweet alyssum
- Nature/Conservancy- Nature hikes, painting and putting up bird houses from spring camp.
- Learning about Herbs from an Herbalist
- Journalism- Campers lead newspaper/ podcast - sharing what they're learning at camp, this will include learning about photography, videography from professionals in these fields
- Physical activity- swimming, basketball, etc
- Arts and Crafts
Tuesday July 23rd Pick up at 12:00 noon.
We estimate the cost to the camp to be between $300-400 per participant. We would encourage you to give accordingly- what you can to The Royal Falcon Foundation, LLC. Spots are limited so register ASAP to secure your child's spot. Contact amyoga64@gmail.com with any questions.
