Connecting Nicollet County is a dynamic 9 month leadership program offered for those who either work or live in Nicollet County. The goal of the program is to create and build upon the leadership skills of participants while building awareness and creating connections of all that Nicollet County has to offer.
Tuition Fee: $600 per student *A limited amount of scholarships are available. Tuition is due either prior to or at the first session in September. Payment plans can be arranged if needed. Applications are due August 31st, 2026.
- Baseline tuition of $600; due by September 15th, late payments have a $50 penalty.

- Super Sponsor discount of $50 when multiple participants are supported by one organization (super sponsor discounts) due by September 1. First applicant pays full price. The 2nd and each additional applicant will receive a $50 discount.
- Payment plan of 3 payments of $200 due September 1, December 1, March 1 ($25 late fee on each late payment)
Sessions are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month, September through May. 5 classes are regional days, held jointly with other county co-hort groups, 4 of the classes are held within different cities in Nicollet County. Leadership training is provided by the University of Minnesota Extension.

Participants must be able to commit to 7 of the 9 sessions in order to participate in graduation.
Participants must live or work in Nicollet County.
After the Cohort Participants have graduated on May of 2027 they will serve as a day chair for the following year (2027-2028). They will help organize one of the sessions for the following year. More information will be provided about this during the program.
