High schoolers — if you have not participated in a hackathon before, have not built a program that integrates with an external API, have not created your own database before, or even haven't touched computer science, then this is for you.
Hack3, with support from HELM Learning (

https://mlh.io/), is hosting a weeklong computer science introductory course from June 20 to June 24.
June 20 to June 24, 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM EDT // 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM PDT
The course is designed for high school students who have not previously participated in a hackathon learn about how to build projects for hackathons. After taking the course, students will be able to participate in Hack3's 2022 hackathon. Our course is designed to have live interaction, so students will code with the instructor and answer questions.
Topics will include:
- Intro to computer science
- Learning Python basics
--- Variables, logic, loops, functions
--- Importing modules
- Building programs that integrate with external APIs
- Integrating a database
- How to make the most of Hack3
