We're not "normal" -- and hopefully neither are you ;)
We’re a mix of ice cream shop, concession stand, afternoons with nana, a selfie studio, catered event experiences, and a whole lot of color! ...this is something special.
While this google form serves as a formal employment application where we'll get the legal info needed to hire you, it's more like an audition on paper -- just show us your realest self -- that's who we're going to be too (our own real self).
Once this form is complete, we'll review your responses here and review your social media content as well, and then decide whether to schedule an interview; we'll either reach out to schedule an interview or we've decided not to move forward with you ---- that said, we believe in adding value to everyone, even if they don't work with us, so if you'd like more info on why we didn't choose you, just let us know!
Everyone is a Cookie Monster --- this is too new of a concept and we don't want anyone's potential to be limited by a job title. We're planning to build a culture of collaboration and cooperation dependent on persal accountability and defined responsibilities based on both natural and learned skills.
At the core of the job though, I can describe the basic responsibilities that we'll all share so you can get a sense of the work:
1. Make friends with every human (and non-human) that walks in, calls, or emails us.
2. Keep everything in our tiny little shop SUPER clean, ALL the time. (plus we're like, super safe about COVID and stuff)
3. Trade treats for money (cash and card accepted --- no crypto, yet.)
4. CREATE, CREATE, CREATE --- WE WANT YOU TO HAVE YOUR PHONES AT WORK! ...that's right, making content for our social media (and yours) is part of your job!
5. Lastly, always contribute and add value. If this last principle guides each of your decisions, you'll be just fine here at Cookies and Creamery!
