Please complete this form to submit program proposals for the 2018 Conference.
Completed submissions will be reviewed by a Conference Program Proposal Selection Committee.

The Selection Committee will use the following rubric to review and rate all proposals:

1) RELEVANCE - Content aligns with OWHE's vision, mission and values, the conference theme, & session category
2) OUTCOMES - Stated outcomes are clear and provide participants with specific take-aways
3) SCOPE - The scope and level of the proposal topic is broad and appropriate for its audience
4) FORMAT - Session format utilizes various elements and methods of engagement

OWHE's goal is to have a diverse set of programs that are:
- relevant across a variety of disciplines or functional areas
- relatable/translatable to different stages in the career path
- focused on skill-building, practical tools, and/or best practices
- engaging and give participants specific take-aways

In an effort to provide relevant and quality programming for our conference attendees, selected programs may enter a review process in which the presenter(s) will be given notes and feedback (if applicable) from our selection committee and time to review, revise, and improve their program.

Program Review will take place between September 1-September 30, 2017

The abstract should be clear, concise and no more than 100 words. Please incorporate the goals of the session and how it will benefit OWHE attendees.

Session Outline
Each session will last 60 minutes. Please provide a brief outline of your presentation. Include your session content, timing, and format. If you have an existing presentation (powerpoint, prezi, etc.), please e-mail it to oregonwhe@gmail.com.

EXAMPLE:

- Introduction of topic and theory (10 minutes)
- Survey of the audience - using social media and clickers (10 minutes)
- Presentation of the analysis of the audience data compared to data collected from our institution. What are the common themes we found? What is surprising or different? (10 minutes)
- Small groups work on a case study; then shares out in the larger group (15 minutes)
- Create individual action plans on how this will be applied to their role/institution (10 minutes)
- Conclusion, Q&A (5 minutes)
- Powerpoint will be e-mailed to OWHE*
