Throughout this photography tour we will have the opportunity to witness and capture some of the Kimberley Region's most spectacular offerings, which may include;

- VAST MOUNTAIN RANGES
- RUSHING SEASONAL WATERFALLS AND RIVERS
- AUSTRALIA'S SECOND LARGEST PERMANENT FRESHWATER LAKE (AND ITS ISLANDS)
- MAGNIFICENT DARK SKIES
- DIVERSE WILDLIFE
- DRAMATIC GORGES

Lake Argyle is Australia's second largest man-made lake by volume, and its surface area is so large that it is classed as an inland sea. This truly wild place is home to a large population of over 30,000 freshwater crocodiles, short-eared rock wallabies, and over 240 species of birds.

Our focus over the 5 days will be capturing the truly incredible landscapes - travelling via road, foot, and boat - to see the very best of Lake Argyle. This workshop will take place towards the end of the wet season, giving us the best chance of seeing some of the many wonderful waterfalls in the area, or maybe even the lake's spillway river flowing!

The workshop also requires that you have your own camera equipment. At a minimum you require your own camera, tripod, lens, batteries, & memory card. *

Do you have any medical conditions (e.g. allergies, asthma) or difficulty walking that we may need to know about? (This information will be kept to myself & is only required to help you should something go wrong. I need all participants to be honest with any conditions that may affect health and safety on a workshop). *
A moderate level of fitness is required to participate in this photography tour. You need to be capable of comfortably hiking up an incline, which may be overgrown and on an unformed path, and with all of your camera equipment to attend. Whilst we won't be doing much hiking overall, I do recommend previous hiking experience, as it will help you to overcome and obstacles in the landscape.
Clear selection
I am aware that there is uneven, soft, and slippery ground, sharp rock-faces, deep water, and sheer cliff faces in the workshop area. The temperatures may be hot, snakes, stinging insects, and other animals that may present a hazard live at Lake Argyle, and may be encountered at the workshop locations. I understand and accept responsibility for my own safety and any injury/accidents that may occur as a result. *
