CalFresh, also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can help you stretch your monthly budget! The purpose of CalFresh is to promote the health and well-being of qualified individuals by providing about 193 food dollars each month to buy foods like fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains and so much more.

Benefits are preloaded into a discrete debit card (aka EBT Card), which you can use in any major grocery store and selected farmer markets. Also, Unit 3's Bear Market will soon welcome EBT! :D

California AB1930 has made certain exemptions for students to be able to qualify for CalFresh.  The following link lists the eligibility requirements for students:
