1) Submit a raw video of your pitch by recording you pitching directly to camera, then uploading it to an unlisted YouTube page. 2) Register at the FCFF website, pay the registration fee and include the link to your YouTube video. 3) Wait to be informed that your pitch has either been accepted or declined.
Based on the pitch videos submitted, our panelists will choose TEN FINALISTS. These finalists will be invited to the live FCFF PitchFest that will take place on Saturday, October 26th, 2019 from 5.30PM to 7PM.
If you are selected, you will have the opportunity to pitch your film concept to a panel of industry experts that could help bring your film to the next stage in development, whether through advice, connections or simply winning the cash and services awarded for the grand prize and producing it yourself.
If you are a finalist you will be ASSIGNED A NUMBER with your confirmation/invitation to Pitch. On the day of the event, you will pitch in numerical order. Any finalists that are not present in the event space by 5.30PM will be disqualified. Numbers will NOT be reassigned; the event will move forward and simply skip any numbers/finalists not present.
If you are Invited to Pitch you will be asked to move to the podium where you will address the panel of experts. The moderator will tell you when to begin. At that point, you will have up to TWO MINUTES to make your pitch to the panel.
NOTE: The Moderator will cut you off after 120 seconds and move on to panelist questions.
There will be three minutes of questions from the panelists. Each panelist will ask a question and answers will be limited to 30 seconds.
