Short listed nominees will be invited to an awards ceremony, where winners and runners-up will be announced.
Who can nominate?We welcome submissions from external organisations, Marjon staff and students who want to nominate a current Marjon Student. However you cannot nominate yourself for an award.
You can nominate current students for any award as long as the nominee meets the award criteria listed.
Can I nominate someone for more than one award? - Yes, please try and give significant details relating to the specific award rather than copy and pasting the same text into a different category.
If only one person has been nominated for an award, the panel reserves the right to decide whether the nominee is a worthy contender for the award. If no nominations are received for an award, then the award will not be given.
This award will be based on the following considerations and criteria:• Someone who has a positive can do attitude• Reliable• Actively engages and has made a positive difference within the local community and beyond• Someone who is supportive, inclusive and friendly• A positive role model within the organisation

This award will be based on the following considerations and criteria:• The huge contribution a volunteer made to a sporting team or wider community• Team player• Demonstrated dedication and hard work• Someone who is supportive, inclusive, approachable and reliable• Someone who has shown enthusiasm to progress their role within a sporting team;• A positive role model whose is friendly and is a positive representative for Marjon
This award will be based on the following considerations and criteria:• Having a unique enterprise idea• Showed innovation, motivation, leadership, organization skills and entrepreneurial flair• Showed progress though business planning, marketing, funding applications/ financial backing, clients networks, annual turnover• Good communication skills/ networking• Shows a willingness to succeed whilst also studying at University

This award will be based on the following considerations and criteria:• Someone inspirational!• Has made the most of opportunities afforded to them through the Marjon student ambassador scheme, working across the University and reflecting the values of Marjon;• Someone who is dynamic, supportive, inclusive and enthusiastic; • A positive ambassador for the institution they represent
This award will be based on the following considerations and criteria:• A student who has worked hard in reflecting on their own academic skills and seeking out ways of improving them; • Demonstrated dedication and hard work in the pursuit of academic achievement; • Stands out from the crowd in their approach to learning; • A student that has demonstrated perseverance in the pursuit of academic achievement, which may have led to improvement in their academic performance.
