CUSU Alternative Prospectus: Student Life and Applying!
This Google Form is shorter than it looks!
The CUSU Access Alternative Prospectus website (www.applytocambridge.com) is an online undergraduate prospectus written by students to offer our insight into being at Cambridge - it aims to break down misconceptions about studying at Cambridge and provide prospective applicants with the facts and experiences that they feel the standard prospectus might not give enough info on (the worst bits as well as the best bits etc)...
This year it's getting completely redeveloped and we'd like to re-launch it in mid-March. We're looking for student volunteers to write content! As well as pages for each course and College, and pages focusing on liberation/minority groups, we want to provide students' insight into applying and life here more generally - everything from how you chose a College, to joining societies, to how good/bad the nightclubs are... This will be done through sections of the website focused on 'Applying' and 'Student Life'.

Please check out the topics below. Could you write something for us to put in any of these sections of the new website? It doesn't have to be much at all (in many cases, it'll be just a paragraph). This is an invaluable chance to show prospective applicants life here beyond the negative myths, and prove how friendly and active a student body we really are.

Please tick what you'd be interested in writing about so I can allocate sections asap and be in contact to tell you more. If you have anything quick to say on topics you can also write a sentence or two in the text boxes and we'll hopefully include as a 'quote' on the relevant webpage .
You can also tell us the number of different sections you'd be willing to write overall (anything from 1 to many is fine!). The deadline to apply is Wednesday 2nd March, in order for content to be written soon after.

Many thanks,
Helena Blair - CUSU Access Officer 2015-16
