Christina School District is seeking nominations for the 2024 Behavioral Health Professional of the Year (BHPOY). A
Behavioral Health Professional is a school employee who offers services for the purpose of improving an individual’s mental health. Christina staff, students, parents, and community members are encouraged to select an outstanding BHP of the year.
Nominee Guidelines/Eligibility: To be eligible, the nominee must:
- Be directly employed by the Christina School District as a School Counselor, School Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, School Psychologist, or School Nurse
- Have at least three years’ experience as a behavioral health professional (the experience is not required to be in the same district/school or position)
- Hold a certification or licensure credential through the Department of Education and/or the Professional Regulation Board;
- Continue to serve in a behavioral health position for the award year.
Nominations are being accepted now through March 15, 2024.
