Whitevale Bird Song Challenge
Whitevale is for the birds!! and bird-lovers, bird-watchers, and bird-listeners. Each week I will be sending around an opportunity to test your bird song recognition with a local recording (or two) of a bird song/call. Turn your volume up, way up, because I am just using my phone to record them! At the end of the contest (probably in 6-7 weeks or so) I will compile answers and those with the most correct answers will win a prize! Enjoy, and learn as you go :)

Kudos to those who guessed correctly! Cardinals stand out in colour, size, shape, personality and song that they sing all summer long. Nothing brings more joy than seeing a cardinal at my feeder in the dead of winter.
