1. What to Bring?
For Chili Entrants: Bring your chili in a crock pot to keep it warm throughout the event. Don’t forget your serving utensils (ladles, etc.) for serving your chili to the crowd. Bring a multi-plug power strip if you’re using a crock pot, so we have enough outlets for everyone.
For Cornbread Entrants: If possible, bring your cornbread ready to serve—cut it into small pieces so people can easily taste it. You can cut it at the event if you are worried about it drying out. Remember to bring your own serving utensils (bread knives, spatulas, etc.).
For Pie Entrants: If possible bring your pie ready to serve—pre-slice your pie to ensure it’s easy for people to try a portion. Or you can cut at the event if you are worried about it falling apart or if you are needing to keep it in the fridge leading up to the event. Please bring your own pie server for people to help themselves.
All Entrants: Label your items: Please ensure your crock pots, pans, and serving utensils are labeled with your name on the bottom to avoid mix-ups.
