Art Vistas - Visit classrooms 2-3x a year to teach students lessons using the visual arts. Training and support provided. Lesson happens during Social Studies period
Blast - Help organize and facilitate this (or next) year's HSC fundraising and community building festival. Many ways to help such as decorating, set up, working a food or game booth.
Book Fair - Setup or Cashier during this 2x a year event. Dates are: 9/29-10/9 and 3/30-4/6

☐Drama Club: Be part of our annual Theater Production here at UMS! It starts around Feb. and ends with our showing usually at the beginning of May. Students can audition for parts or be a member of the backstage Crew team. Parent involvement are essential to our production every Spring.
Front Office - Assist in addressing visitor needs, answer phones, make copies, and help with office work. Help needed 11-1 daily, flexible scheduling.
Home and School Club Board - This is our primary parent organization that helps raise and distribute funds to our school.
Homework Center - Volunteer as a tutor from 3-4:30 after school.
Hospitality - Help set up & provide food for special events honoring the faculty & staff. Events occur about 7x a year.
Library - Help shelve and label books. Looking for volunteers who can commit consistently.
M-Power: A group of energetic parents who aren’t afraid to teach a class are needed 5x a year, to lead our Anti-Bullying lessons and talk to students about bullying and its effects. The lessons are already organized, training &support is included. Example of topics: Cyber bullying,Sexual Harassment, Emotional Management and Peer Pressure. Make a difference in the lives of kids. Mandatory Training session on September 11th.
Music Boosters: Planning and implementing various fundraising activities to benefit all Music students including all Bands, Percussion Club, and Choir
Parents on Campus/Yard Duty: Supervise & connect with students during lunch time. Paid & volunteer positions are available. Must sign-in at Front Office each time.
Sports Boosters - We provide crucial funding for athletics & after school sports at UMS. *We are still in need of a Chair for this year.*!
8th Grade Graduation Dance: Parents of 8th grade to volunteer with planning and decorating for their students’ Grad. Dance. This is also open to 7th grade parents who want to get some experience before their BIG dance.
