Request an Application to LEE's Diversity in Elected Leadership Series (DIELS)
LEE’s Diversity in Elected Leadership Series is a 3-month program designed to inspire, develop and support LEE members from communities historically underrepresented in political leadership who are considering running for office and are committed advocates for educational equity. LEE believes that members from these communities can bring a beneficial perspective to education policy-making and governance and that we need more diverse representation at all levels of elected office. These programs provide a space for LEE members to explore some of the challenges and opportunities that historically underrepresented candidates and elected officials may face while running for and serving in public office.
