Kuna FFA Scholarship Application
DUE DATE: April 18, 2025

APPLICATION: Students will use this form to apply for the scholarships selected and awarded through the Kuna FFA Advisory Committee and the Kuna FFA Chapter. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be considered.  THIS INCLUDES unanswered questions in the application and missing additional materials.  Applications submitted after April 18, 2025 WILL NOT be considered.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS: Applicants need to ask Mr. Edwards to create a shared folder titled with THEIR LAST NAME on the Scholarship Folder on Google Drive and upload all application materials prior to the due date.

INTERVIEWS: Applicants need to be available for an interview on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Interviews will begin at 7pm.
Kuna FFA Advisory Committee Scholarship
The Kuna Advisory Committee will award scholarships of $500 - $1250 to graduating Kuna FFA Seniors.  The scholarship is given in two equal amounts over two semesters. The scholarship can be used at any 2 or 4 year college, community college, or vocational training program.   Scholarships will be awarded based on FFA Involvement, FFA Leadership, academic performance, and need.
Wayne and Blanche Kuhlman Scholarship
The Wayne and Blanche Kuhlman Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship presented to a Kuna FFA graduating senior to use to further their education at a 2 or 4 year college.  Preference for this scholarship is given to a non-officer that has been actively involved in the chapter for three to four years.  Emphasis will be placed on hard work, dedication, and need.
Lloyd Brown Scholarship
The Lloyd Brown Scholarship was created by the family of Lloyd Brown to honor his memory.  Mr. Brown was a long time resident of Kuna and supporter of the Kuna FFA Chapter.  The $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a  Kuna FFA graduating senior.  The award will be based on FFA involvement and leadership, academic performance, need, and preference will be given to those majoring in any area of agriculture.
Don & Mary Johnson Scholarship
The Don & Mary Johnson Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship for Kuna FFA graduating seniors and former members with preference going to students majoring in agriculture. This scholarship was established by Don and Mary Johnson in 2016 and first awarded in 2017. The Johnsons, long-time friends of Kuna FFA and Idaho FFA, have been hard at work since 1960 keeping the community they love a positive place for children and families. As Don and Mary sold their farm in 2016, they continue their generosity and stewardship toward the community they love including this annual scholarship for a Kuna FFA member.
Dale & Mary Reynolds and Amanda Reynolds Scholarships
The Dale & Mary Reynolds and Amanda Reynolds Scholarships are awarded by the Reynolds family.  Separate applications are required for consideration for these scholarships.  Please see an advisor or visit the chapter website for application information and directions.
