TBIL Community Workshop 2025: Tuesday January 7 in Seattle
All TBIL-trained community members are invited to participate in a TBIL Community Workshop to be held in Seattle, WA on 2025 January 7. Note that this is the day before the start of the 2025 Joint Mathematics Meetings, and we anticipate to hold our workshop in the conference hotel. This event is not affiliated with the JMM but we hope that many participants will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to extend their stay in Seattle and participate in the JMM as well.

This workshop is expected to be held from 9am-5pm and include four sessions:
  • A short review on Team-Based Inquiry Learning
  • How to contribute to the TBIL Resource Library
  • Facilitating your own TBIL workshops
  • Community discussion on the future of TBIL
Funding is available for those who participated in the TBIL Institute 2021/2022 or MAA OPEN Workshop on TBIL 2023/2024 by applying below. We expect to be able to reimburse the cost of airfare to/from Seattle and two nights hotel (Jan 6-8), and hope to have sufficient funds to support all qualified applicants. Additional funding may be available for those presenting on topics related to TBIL at the JMM (email sclontz@southalabama.edu for details).
