GRAFTON JACARANDA FESTIVAL - Elders Open Garden Entry Form 2021
The Grafton Jacaranda Festival is planning a phenomenal ten day festival from Friday 29 October to Sunday 7 November. This is the perfect time to have your garden showcased as an Elders Open Garden. This is not a competition. It is an opportunity for you to showcase your garden during the festival. Please read the terms and conditions below and complete the form to enter your garden.

Terms & Conditions of displaying a Open Garden:

Entries close Friday 13 August 2021 to be eligible for the entrant’s garden to be listed in the official Grafton Jacaranda Festival program – digital and printed versions.

The entrant’s garden must be open for inspection to the public every day of the festival, Saturday 30 October to Sunday 7 November, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

The Grafton Jacaranda Festival cannot insure this event, so you must have your own household insurance policy with a legal liability of at least $1,000,000 (one million dollars). Please check with your own insurer in relation to this.

The entrant agrees to an Elders Open Garden sign being displayed in front of their property from Thursday 28 October to Sunday 7 November.  The sign will be delivered the week prior and collected the week after the festival.

As a condition of entry, the festival committee requests that you place a donation tin in a prominent and secure position during the times your garden is open for viewing. A Grafton Jacaranda Festival donation tin will be delivered with your sign.  All donations contribute to running this event.

The entrant agrees to their garden and address to be advertised via the festival’s social media pages, digital and printed program and advertising campaigns with local newspapers, radio stations and television stations.

Private Garden is a general member of the public’s garden that will allow visitors to tour through the garden area of the property.

Business Garden is a garden belonging to a local business that will allow visitors to tour through the garden area of the property.

Club/Institution Garden is a garden associated to a recreation club or charity organisation that will allow visitors to tour through the garden area of the property.
