The book for the class is How to Be Good at Math: The Simplest-ever visual guide which is currently listed on Amazon for $13.99. The cost of the book is in addition to the $150 for the cost of the class, and it is up to the parent/guardian of the student to purchase the book for his/her child. While i will be referencing the book, I will be LARGELY showing my own methods to solve problems. The text is optional but recommended.
The class will be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 AM for 5 weeks. The dates for the class are June 18, 20, 25, 27, July 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25.
If a student misses a class, there is NO make-up class. However, the parent will be sent a video recording of the class for his/her child to view.
Because of the nature of ZOOM, if a student has his video enabled, please be advised that other students will be able to see the student. If the student does NOT want to be seen during the class or on the recording that may be sent to absent students, a student can simply leave his video off. He will still be able to see what i am writing. Thanks.
