The Early Learning Discovery Mornings are aimed at children who are 2 to 4 years of age.
We know that young children are active learners who are interested in forming and testing their ideas of the world. Their knowledge grows as they interact with objects and people. They detect patterns to make meaning and they make inferences and predictions based on the data they they constantly gather about the world around them.
To help maximise learning at this critical age, St Luke's is seeking to provide opportunities to children in their earliest years to be actively engaged with their surroundings. Social interaction, rewarding experiences and connection with others is of utmost importance in order to develop emotional regulation, speech and to develop meaningful relationships.
