THIS TRAINING HAS CURRENTLY REACHED CAPACITY. WE PLAN TO ORGANIZE ANOTHER TRAINING IN OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING NOTIFIED ABOUT A FUTURE TRAINING ON THIS CONTENT, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW.

In a time of increased immigration enforcement, many immigrant families are looking for resources to proactively prepare in the event that they are detained and thereby separated from their children. This training will provide an overview of an immigrant’s constitutional rights when confronted by law enforcement as well as introduce key legal tools including how to assist immigrant parents in filling out specific forms to temporarily authorize someone to care for their children including accessing school, medical and other needs in case they are detained or separated. This training is geared toward providers including health care workers, teachers, social workers, nonprofit staff, attorneys and other allies, who work regularly with immigrant communities.
Presenters include attorneys from the PAIR Project and Mass Law Reform Institute.

The training will be held at WilmerHale LLP, 60 State St, Boston, MA 02109. Please bring ID so that security can check you in. For questions please contact Courtney Snegroff at csnegroff@pairproject.org, 617-742-9296 x 315.
