How to measure:

1. get a tape measure

2. stand straight in front of mirror, or ask someone to help

3. measure your waistline(the dress's waist line) to the hem you want! you don't need to wear the dress!

4.【the whole skirt length】minus【your measurement】is the length you need to cut.

Ritz gown: 45"/114cm

Romance novel, terroce gown : 46" / 117cm

For me as 5'1"(156cm) barefoot!

39"(100cm) : slightly drag on the floor

37" (95cm) : under ankle

35" (90cm) : on ankle

32" (81cm) : lower shin

29.5" (75cm) : mid shin

24.5" (63cm) : under knee

22.5" (58cm) : on knee

20" (51cm) : above knee

18.5" (47cm) : mid thigh

15.5" (40cm) : mini

So if you are 5'3", just add 2 more inches on this! but this is approx! everyone has different length of legs and torso, and different favorite skirt length! just do not bend over when you measure.

cut between skirt and ruffle for organza or silk items (besides cotton!) : $150 + $20 each organza layer cut (cotton layer $10 each) (will fix the uneven skirt! every organza dress has uneven skirt in my experience)

pockets : $45 (only for cotton, one layer dress) (my pocket pattern needs 4 of 6.5"x11" I'll try to use the same fabric where you can see when you use)

taking in sides without cut : $40 (no matching item)

jumpsuits turning into a dress no length change : $60 (no extra fabric)

jumpsuits turning into a dress + shortening : $80

corset back with eyelets and ribbon + hook and eye : $80 (no matching item)

sleeve altration: around $100 (depends. let me know what you wanna do)

shipping in US : included. will use the cheapest way to ship! (you can also ship to me with whatever carrier/option you'd like!)

international shipping : $10-30 for a dress depending on your country. if you send me more it'll be more. but I will try to avoid customs!(lmk how your country does!) if you want more stuff from US, feel free to use me!

【FOR SHORTENING】Your dress MUST unworn. if you wore it, please dry clean before you send. worn dress hem is super dirty especially if it drags (I know that's why you want to cut!!!!!)

you will ship your dress to a dog friendly house. (smoke and shoe free!) I appologize in advance if you receive with doggie hair.

Maximum is 3 dresses at once! Even though you are not in rush. If you want more dresses to alter, please send me separately after finishing altering the first 3 dresses.

I will let you know my address after you paid fully. I really do appreciate if you could tip for this service! but you dont have to.

I will ask / double check (on paypal transaction or on label you sent) your address when it's ready to ship!

if you didn't like or if it didn't fit you, which means you measured wrong. I can help to fix it, but will cost same!

FYI! To ship your dress, USPS pickup your package at your house with a request online if you can print a label at home.
