SJSU Online Student Ambassadors will gain:- Opportunities to create community across SJSU Online and help fellow students succeed.
- Professional development in public speaking, events management, and digital communications.
- $20/hour for up to 60 hours ($1200 max) of participation during the fall and spring terms.
Examples of ambassador activities include:- Advocacy: Attend orientation and training, check ins with the SJSU Online team.
- Community building: Communicate with current students and organize activities outside of class.
- Education: Create short, vertical videos that are helpful for potential and current students.
- Outreach: Participate in info sessions, communicate with potential and new students.

If you are selected as an ambassador, you will need to complete SJSU's online and in-person onboarding processes. If you do not live in the San José area, the SJSU University Personnel office will help you find a location in your area to complete the in-person portion.
