WHAT WILL I DO AS A VOLUNTEER?
Volunteers will partake in a variety of tasks such as event set-up, tabling, assist as event ushers and much more. With a small staff, LULAC is grateful for the helping hands of volunteers in the community. It is because of individuals who volunteer their time and efforts that LULAC is able to produce a successful convention and exposition every year.

VOLUNTEER BENEFITS:
Volunteer benefits include letters of recommendation, networking with Latino professionals and top leaders in your community and from across the nation, access to the exposition. Volunteers will have the opportunity to enter in a raffle EXCLUSIVELY for volunteers, to receive LULAC swag items, and a ticket to a meal event depending on overall hours worked.

ABOUT CONVENTION:
The League of United Latin American Citizens invites you to participate in the 93rd Annual LULAC National Convention & Exposition in San Juan, Puerto Rico from July 25 - July 30, 2022. As the premier Hispanic convention, the LULAC National Convention draws over 20,000 participants from across the country each year including top leaders from the government, business, and the Latino community.

This annual convention serves the community in many ways. Throughout the convention all workshops are free to the public as well as the exposition. The exposition allows community members to receive information regarding resources in their area, provide health services and educational material. Likewise, community members who attend the exposition have the opportunity to network with local resources and organizations as well as partake in the free giveaways.

Volunteer Orientation
There will be a volunteer orientation on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. LULAC staff will go over expectations and roles throughout the Convention period.  If you are available at this time, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED you attend this session.  
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
