Volunteer with ACAVE

Hi! We’re looking for individuals who can join us in our journey to build a supportive community for queer women.

Why volunteer with us? You’ll get first dibs on our activities, meet like-minded women who share your passion for inclusion and sports, and also gain experience in event planning, community outreach, and other useful skills.

What We’re Looking For: No previous experience needed. As long as you’re willing to help out, learn, and be able to commit to at least one weekend session per month, for three months.

Roles available: Event Specialist, Social Media Specialist (see role descriptions below)

Event Specialist
  • Prepare the venue where needed
  • Take attendance during sessions
  • Capture photos and videos of the event activities (your own good phone camera can be used)
  • Post on Instagram timely with engaging captions
  • Any other ad-hoc admin task as required for the event
Social Media Specialist
  • Manage our ACAVE Instagram account
  • Coordinate with Event Specialists for photos to post on our Instagram account
  • Design social media posts on Canva
  • Post on Instagram timely with engaging captions
  • Any other ad-hoc admin tasks
