Battle over rainbow crossings, street art: Share what’s happening in your community

With Florida cities facing pressure from state and federal officials to remove rainbow crosswalks and other "non-standard surface markings" from roads and pavements, WLRN is trying to keep tabs on street art in South Florida, and also get a check on how our communities feel about them.

Please help us by answering the poll below — and send us images from your community, in order to create a visual record of street art that is under threat.

If you have any kind of street art in your neighborhood, town, city or come across it on your commute, please answer the next three questions:

1. Where is it located? Please specify the intersection
2. What does it look like? If possible, send us a photo to talktous@wlrnnews.org.
3. Tell us what you think of it. For example, does it contribute to or devalue the community? How would you feel if it was removed?
Finally, tell us any other thoughts you have on the matter.
If you feel comfortable sharing, tell us, for publication: your first and last name, age and county of residence (any or all of those)
